To set default project data file paths

  1. Click the Defaults Manager icon.

    The Defaults Manager dialog box opens.

  2. Click the Application button.
  3. In the File paths panel , you can browse your network drives or local drives to set the default locations for energy data, weather data and schedules data. The default installed locations are displayed.
  4. Set the default North arrow symbol. OpenBuildings Energy Simulator provides a default symbol, but it can be changed by browsing to an external cell library and selecting a cell from it to be used as the default symbol.

    CAUTION: The OpenBuildings Energy Simulator default north arrow symbol is always oriented pointing towards positive Y direction (up). If an external cell is used as the North arrow symbol, and it points in a different direction, it will not affect the true OpenBuildings Energy Simulator programmatic north direction.

  5. Click OK to complete the defaults setup.
